Join the Laid Back Lads on Wednesday, January 12th for a men’s event designed to educate and support men on their journey with mental wellness.
We will be joined by special guests, Kelly Weitz, local Therapist and Sean Stanford, local Farmer.
As a provisional Psychologist, Kelly believes that there can be growth alongside adversity and her practice largely focuses on solution focused dialogue while exploring how past success can influence future success. Kelly will touch a bit on the why, how and what’s of therapy and how therapy can be a tool to help navigate the stresses of the modern day man.
Sean, a local farmer and volunteer firefighter will share his story about a tragic event which lead to the diagnosis of PTSD, how this diagnosis impacted his life and marriage and what resources he found to help him overcome the gripping effect this event had on his life.
Tickets for this event are $25 and include a beverage and snack from The Collective Coffee Bar.
